A center of logistics innovation that recognizes its cultural and built context while providing a wide array of job opportunities.
DTLA Logistics Center
Located at the nexus of several historic districts in Downtown Los Angeles, the DTLA Logistics project would provide infrastructure in service of innovation. This unique location offers opportunities for a diverse range of building users within a dynamic cultural context which underpins the design.
Jackson Liles Architecture seeks to design a first-of-its-kind center of innovation. A center which recognizes its cultural and built context, supports an array of work and job opportunities, and provides infrastructure for innovation founded in sustainable design principles and anchored in the community through green infrastructure. The design animates the key streets by wrapping retail, restaurant, and art space ground level logistics centered uses. Large flexible spaces above provide unscripted opportunities for innovative development, research, creative collaboration, and logistics uses.
